Browns Baby!

Anderson under center, Lewis behind him. Edwards out left, JJ out right, Winslow slides right to left on your radio dial. 3rd down and 3 with a few ticks left. 1st down will seal the deal for the Brownies here in New York. Anderson takes the snap, hands the ball off to Lewis, Stutter step to the left back to the right, Lewis in tangled up at the line but breaks loose. Lewis at the 25 shakes a defender off, rumbling stumbling to the 15, stood up at the 10, shakes off a would be tackler and slams into the end zone for a touchdown! Browns are Back Baby!

Attention all Browns Fans, A letter out of Berea states that the Browns players and coaches want fans to leave the tailgating area earlier then usual so the Dawg Pound will be rocking and rolling before introductions.

Honestly I expected the Browns to be 8-8 this year and missing the playoffs by a game or two. With 3 games remaining(not looking ahead) the Browns can clinch a playoff spot with a Win against Buffalo and a Tennessee Loss! I can feel it dawgs. The Pound will be rocking on Sunday! Weather: Cold, Snow and gray skies! December football at it's finest.

Buffalo comes into this game with one goal in mind. They want this game/need this game in order to continue their run to the playoffs. Buffalo is a scary team, you never know which team will take the field. Buffalo started the season with a heart breaker against Denver where Elam kicked a game winning field goal to spoil the game for the Bills. The next two games were against Pittsburgh and New England and let's face it, the stillers were playing great ball and well you all know what the Patriots have been doing. Finally the Bills get in the win column with a close game with the Jets 17-14! Next game against Dallas on Monday night and once again Buffalo's hopes were crushed as rookie kicker Folk for Dallas booted a field goal with just ticks remaining to finish the Bills off. The Bills needed a bye week after a tough schedule to start off the season. Four straight wins against Baltimore, Cinci, Jets and the Dolphins to come out of the bye week was a pretty easy task giving that the Bengals were clueless and had more news about players getting in trouble then Highlights of great performance. Jets and Baltimore were struggling and well once again you know what the fish are doing this year. Anyways Buffalo goes home to face a Patriot team that is on a tear, lose 56-10 at home. I remember this game because I was going against Tom Brady in fantasy football, he was still passing TD's in the fourth quarter. Next game the Bills head to Jacksonville to face a very tough team who plays great on both sides of the ball, Bills lose 36-14. December arrives and the Bills win a tight one against the Redskins 17-16 and a blowout against the Dolphins 38-17. With three games left the Bills must take it one game at a time but a stumble in Cleveland, well let's face it the Bills are done! As a Browns fan I am nervous about this game. With the weather forecast being a cold and snowy day I expect the Browns to pound the football. Something has to give and I give the Browns the advantage when the QB's start airing it out. Lee Evans has picked his game up in the second half of the season and Reed and Parrish have been okie dokie options. But Edwards, Winslow, and JJ have been phenomenal all year and expect the boys to be fetching some balls early in the game. If the Browns get the lead early expect them to sit on the ball until Buffalo lights up the scoreboard. Browns need to be aggressive because the Bills will be keep it close through out the game. Turnovers will play a huge factor, if Anderson can start playing at 1:00 instead of 1:30 or 1:45 then the Browns will be on their way but Buffalo will be in their back pocket if he doesn't. I don't think the Fans in Cleveland Browns Stadium will let the Browns start late. On the defensive side of the ball, the Browns have been stopping the run, well they have been giving up 100yd games but nothing too crazy. DB's for the Browns will be hoping for bad weather because they can't play four quarters of football, they shine at times and at other times they are no where to be found. Eric Wright should be back and with the play of Mcdonald the Browns may find a way to grab some picks or even take on to the house. We can all wish right? Special teams will be a huge factor. Phil Dawson has been pretty solid for us so far. Stop thinking about the kick at Heinz field because all kickers have trouble there. He may have missed a few here and there but lets face it, he's been a huge part of this 8-5 run. Browns have relied on Dawson to win games and I have an feeling the Browns will be calling for him late in the game again. Prediction Browns 23 Buffalo 20!

BCS Bowl Game Predictions

BCS National Championship Game:
Ohio State Buckeyes vs LSU Tigers

-Yes I am from Ohio and Yes I will be picking the Ohio State Buckeyes. Ohio State did play an easy schedule with their non-conference schedule and a weak Big Ten Lineup, but they did what they had to do except for the Illinois game which just like last years BCS game the Buckeyes can't stop a Spread O/with a mobile QB, not a lot of teams can. This was suppose to be a rebuilding year for the Buckeyes. Teams ranked higher then them were dropping like flies all year allowing the Bucks to slide up and take the #1 spot. For all you Buckeye haters, don't hate the buckeyes for being #1, hate the teams that lost to unranked teams to allow the Buckeyes to move up. "USC vs Stanford, Mich vs App, Oklahoma vs Colorado/Texas Tech and so on", or the coaches that vote or the BCS SYSTEM. Anyways the Buckeyes will pound the football until the 8-9 man box shows up and the bucks will air it out. I don't like LSU, My reason? I guess towards the end of the season on how much hype they were receiving they go on to lose to Kentucky, which was a great game! Few games later they move up again and then lose to Arkansas. Now they get another shot at the Title. Do they deserve it, I think they don't because they had two chances at the #1 spot or #2 spot and tanked. Do I want them in the title game? Yes because they won their Conference which is the toughest conference out there,(my opinion, sorry Big Ten) and since im a fan of the Buckeyes: I WANT TO BEAT THE SEC CHAMP.

Prediction:
Buckeyes 31 Tigers 27
Buckeyes +4.5 (as I write this)
ROSE BOWL:
Illinois vs USC Trojans

-Illinois will blow the trojans out of the Rose Bowl, well as I typed that I thought maybe not. Why doesn't this Illinois team have a chance. They have nothing to lose. They have a spread offense with a QB named Juice Williams who loves to run. I really want to pick Illinois in this game because they are going to go balls out and leave everything on the field. USC is healthy and I can't pick against them. They have a solid team, Run, Pass, and thier Defense is outstanding. Possibly the best linebacker core in college football. Leman will have his hands full, Im going to pick the TROJANS

USC 44 Illinois 20
USC -13.5

Sugar Bowl
Hawaii vs Georgia

-I am picking Hawaii in this game, just because I feel the Bulldogs heads will be thinking about how they got snubbed in the BCS game and not looking into Hawaii like they should be doing. Georgia should win this game but I am riding the arm of Colt Brennan. Georgia has a weak defensive secondary which will have it's handful when Colt goes back to pass 50+ times during this game. Stafford and Moreno are great players which will give Hawaii defenders fits but Goliath will fall and Hawaii will be feeling sweet!

Hawaii 31 Georgia 27
Hawaii +9

Fiesta Bowl
West Virginia vs Oklahoma

-West Virginia has the speed and athletes to beat Oklahoma but they rely on one man: Pat White, if he goes down the game is over and WV packs up and goes back to the mountains. Oklahoma is a great team and they don't rely on one guy to win the game. Their offense can score points and their defense is FAST. Should be an interesting game if White stays in the game, but I pick Oklahoma.

Oklahoma 38 West Virginia 32
WV +6.5

Orange Bowl
Virginia Tech vs Kansas (Should be Missouri)

-I can't believe Kansas is in this game. Poor Missouri I feel for ya! But with all that said I think Kansas comes out of Miami with the victory. Honestly this game can go either way, I cant choose! I choose Missouri

Missouri 44 Virginia Tech/Kansas 13
Kansas +3
